Scam Alert 
The sheriff's office continues to receive numerous calls about scam calls occuring in the community. Those continue to be from various numbers claiming to be from either the "IRS" or "FBI". The most recent numbers include 646-682-0951, 202-770-0721, 202-996-8643 as well as 812-855-2194, along with several others from various area codes outside of the local area. Callers are encouraged to ignore these calls and as always verify callers information before releasing any personal information. Citizens can continue to report scam calls at 812-231-1430.
