Computer Ransomware Attacks 
The Vigo County Sheriff's Office has recieved reports of computer ransomware attacks to individual computers. Citizens are reminded to back up computers data onto an external media often so your information is protected against these attacks and should it occur you are not forced to pay such ransom, consult with computer experts on proper anti-virus and anti-ramsonware software, paying a ransom does not guarantee your computer will be unlocked nor what your charges will be.
