The Vigo Co. Deputies were then directed to the east end of the lake were they located a white male lying face down in the water with a kayak floating nearby.

Sugar Creek Fire, New Goshen Fire, Honey Creek Fire Departments were all requested to assist due to the remote area and limited access where the body was located.  The Vigo Co.      On 8/27/18 an autopsy was performed.  There was no trauma notated on the body and appeared the result of  the death to be consistent with drowning.  Identification of the deceased is pending until family can be notified.
