Cushing Police investigate late night home invasion.
Cushing- Yesterday shortly after 11:33 pm, Cushing Police were dispatched to a residential home invasion call in the 500 block of north Meyers Street.
Prior to officers arriving on scene, they were advised that two male suspects, both wearing bandanas, had broken into the residence, where they assaulted both homeowners, prior to stealing several items and fleeing the scene.
Once on scene, officers turned their intentions to the investigation. During the investigation, it was determined that two unknown males fled the scene in a silver passenger car, which was driven by an unknown white female with blonde hair.
Officers were able to gather statements from the victims, as well as, collect several pieces of evidence from the scene. It was later determined that a small amount of cash along with other personal items had been stolen from the residence.
Officers then canvassed the area looking for the suspects and vehicle. Officers received assistance from both the Payne County Sheriff’s Department and Drumright Police Department.
Currently, law enforcement continues to follow up on all leads in attempt to identify the three suspects. Anyone having information on this case should contact Ofc.
