Winter weather advisory in effect for Waterville Valley area thru Wednesday.
Good Afternoon,
NWS advises widespread snowfall is expected Tuesday through Wednesday. Expect occasional light snow to break out in New Hampshire during the afternoon and will gradually push into western Maine by early evening. NWS has issued winter weather advisories for southeastern New Hampshire and winter storm warnings for interior southern and central portions of the state starting in the early afternoon. High temperatures will range from the mid-teens to lower 20s north and mid-20s to mid-30s south. Snow will become heavy at times. Southern and coastal areas may see a changeover to rain after some snowfall.
Snow will begin as early as Tuesday afternoon in the western part of NH and end Wednesday morning. Snow may change to rain near the coast.
Snow squalls may impact the evening commute on Wednesday. Temperatures will be very cold and windy Wednesday night. With wind-chill values of 20 below or colder in the northern and western parts of the state. Cold weather continues into Friday.

Winter Storm Warning: Grafton, Carroll, Merrimack, Sullivan Belknap, Strafford and Cheshire counties from 1pm Tuesday to 7am Wednesday. 5-8” of snow expected.
Winter Storm Warning: Coos county from 7pm Tuesday to 11am Wednesday. 5-8” of snow expected.
