MESSAGE RELAYED ON BEHALF OF TETON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE
UPDATE 02/06/2019 7:05 pm - Teton County Sheriff's Office advises that the tractor trailer accident on S Highway 89 in Snake River Canyon has been cleared. The highway between Hoback and Alpine is now OPEN in both directions. The Sheriff's Office thanks the public for their patience.
ORIGINAL MESSAGE 02/06/2019 5:05 pm - Teton County Sheriff's Office advises that S Highway 89 at milepost 136 just south of Astoria in the Snake River Canyon is CLOSED in both directions due to a jack-knifed tractor trailer. Be prepared to stop. There is no estimated time for reopening at this time.
