Estudiante de secundaria es arrestado por amenazas criminales
This morning a Sonoma County Sheriff School Resource Officer was dispatched to Altamira Middle School in the Sonoma Valley for a report of criminal threats. During the course of the investigation it was discovered a student displayed an object that resembled a pistol holster. The student was reported to have made threats involving a gun to harm other students. School administration and law enforcement acted immediately and took appropriate actions to ensure the safety of all students and staff. The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes Unit responded to the school and assumed responsibility for the investigation. As a result of the investigation, the student was determined to be responsible for making criminal threats and was subsequently arrested. No firearm was believed to be accessible nor located at the student’s residence. Due to the age of the student involved his or her name will not be released.
The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office take these incidents seriously to ensure the safety of our community.
