Elk Refuge Rd is now OPEN. Teton County Road & Levee thanks the public for their patience. See email/link.
Teton County Road & Levee advises that the Elk Refuge Rd is now open and thanks everyone for their patience. Public safety is the top priority when considering closing and opening County roads.
At this point, all roads in Teton County are now open with the exception of standard seasonal winter road closures. Many roads still have advisories, so check www.wyoroad.info for the latest information. Power should also be restored to all areas of Teton County. If you are still experiencing issues, please report them to Lower Valley Energy at (800) 882-5875.
Teton County Emergency Management would like to thank the entire community for coming together during this historic winter storm. Whether it was helping a neighbor clear a gas meter of ice, making smart choices when it comes to recreating in the backcountry, taking it slow on icy roads, or digging out a fire hydrant, many folks pitched in and we thank you for that. We especially thank the public and private snow removal crews that worked so diligently to open and clear our highways, streets, sidewalks, pathways, parking lots, and roofs.
