Cherry Hill Police will join officers all around NJ cracking down on distracted drivers between April 1 - 21, boosting their year-round patrols with additional officers watching for drivers who are talking on a handheld phone, texting, using handheld GPS, reading books or papers, turning around to talk to passengers, anything that takes their focus off of driving safely and attentively.  The "UDrive. UText. UPay." campaign is funded by the NJ Division of Highway Traffic Safety to help put extra police on our streets in an effort to curb distracted driving- all distractions while driving endanger driver, passenger, and bystander safety.
