Freeze Watch until 09:00AM Monday
A strong cold front will work across the mid state tonight and will bring increasingly colder air behind it. By Monday morning, the associated surface high will be located just to the north of our area. The dry airmass will combine with clear skies and light winds to provide sub-freezing temperatures and frost across middle TN by late Sunday night. Additionally, another round of frost looks possible for Monday night. Temperatures will rebound to seasonal levels by mid to late week. The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Freeze Watch, which is in effect from Sunday evening through Monday morning.
