Sheriff Mike Marshall and the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office were happy to join with Walnut Cove Elementary for their 2019 Spring Fling. The Sheriff’s office provided for this event a Stokes County Sheriff’s Patrol Car, a Sheriff’s Truck and a Stokes County Sheriff’s D.A.R.E. Car. The Sheriff’s Office had deputies on scene making Kids Identification Cards (Kids ID) issued complements of Sheriff Mike Marshall. Having a child’s basic information with a photo ID is a great thing to have in the event of an emergency. The Stokes County Sheriff’s Kid’s ID program is not associated with Ident-A-Kid Program offered at several Stokes County Schools. Special thanks to Captain Danny Bottoms, Sergeant W. Blankenship, and Deputy Amanda Ferguson and the faculty, staff and P.T.O. at Walnut Cove Elementary and their volunteers as well as Walnut Cove Fire Department.
Sheriff Marshall and his staff are working to help keep Stokes County Kids Safe.
