Congratulations Lawsonville Elementary School on their completion of the D.A.R.E. Program! Sheriff Mike Marshall and the Stokes County Sheriff’s Office were very happy to work with the Stokes County School System and the Parents of our graduates to deliver the students at Lawsonville Elementary the D.A.R.E. Program. D.A.R.E. is a ten week program designed to help students make better decisions especially when it comes to using drugs. Special thanks to our guest speaker Stokes County Board of Education Katie Tedder, Stokes County Sheriff’s Office Captain Danny Bottoms and Deputy Amanda Ferguson, Lawsonville Elementary School Principal Greg Ottaway, Teachers Sherry Hester and Lindsey Draughn and Music Teacher Aja Brim for helping with the graduation as well as several others.
