Residents:
This message is to alert you that the UMTPD has been notified by PPL Electric Utilities that they will begin upgrading power lines in Upper Macungie Township (along with various other municipalities) in July of 2019 and expect to continue working until the end of the year. According to PPL, this project will improve electric service and reliability throughout the region.
Construction will take place on PPL property and will include the use of helicopters and heavy construction equipment. Please give workers space and do not approach them for safety reasons.
