Please be reminded that on July 4th, 2019, the City of Huntington Woods will be hosting the annual 4th of July Parade and Fireworks over Rackham events.

For the parade, the roads that will be utilized for the progression of the parade will be closed until the completion of the event. These include Salem/Nadine from Dundee to Wyoming, Wyoming between Nadine & Borgman, Borgman between Wyoming & Scotia, Scotia between Borgman & Nadine, and a portion of Nadine west of Scotia. 'No Parking' signs will be posted along the parade route and the assembly and parade staging areas which include York from Concord to Borgman (Hendrie) and Salem from Woodward to Dundee. Please observe the posted and signs and be mindful that any vehicles parked along the parade route prior to the start of the event are subject to towing. It is expected that road closures for the parade will go into effect at approximately 9:40-9:45 AM.

For the Fireworks over Rackham event, the roads utilized for pedestrian assembly and fireworks viewing will be closed until the completion of the fireworks (and shortly thereafter for clearing). These include Ludlow from Parkwood to Wyoming, Scotia from Ten Mile to Vernon, Edward from Scotia to Parkwood, and Newport & Meadowcrest from Ludlow to Vernon. 'No Parking' signs will be posted along the affected roads and some of the surrounding streets. Please observe the posted signs and remember that any vehicles illegally parked will be subject to towing. Street closures for the fireworks will commence at approximately 8:30 PM.
