Citizen Academy 2019 
Are you interested in spending five weeks learning about what police officers do and the training they receive? Do topics such as use of force, emergency vehicle operations, investigations, and traffic enforcement intrigue you? If so, you might consider signing up for the 2019 Anacortes Police Department Citizen Academy.
The Academy is a great opportunity to engage with Anacortes Police Department staff who present on topics highlighting their specific area of expertise such as the history of APD, domestic violence investigations, and animal control.
The Academy will take place on Monday and Thursday evenings from 6-8:30PM. The Academy dates are Monday, October 14 through Thursday, November 14, 2019. There is no charge and no expectation of further commitment once you graduate from the Academy. Space is limited so apply online today at https://
