POWER SHUT OFF INFO
The Public Safety Power Shutoff that began on Saturday (10/26/2019) will likely continue through Sunday (10/27/2019) and into Monday (10/28/2019). Approximately 4,000 customers have lost power, primarily on the west side of the City.
Even if you still have power, we urge you to stay alert and prepare as the winds will continue throughout the day and could damage infrastructure and lead to expanded power interruptions.
PETALUMA ASKED TO LIMIT WATER USE
Sonoma Water Agency water production facilities have been switched to emergency generator power. For this reason, we ask that all Petaluma residents, businesses, and visitors limit water use until further notice. We will keep you posted as this situation unfolds.
NO OUTDOOR FIRES
To avoid setting of additional fires, please do not use barbecues or burn any outdoor fires.

City of Petaluma staff will continue monitoring the situation and preparing city facilities and infrastructure for potential impacts of the power shutoff and fire evacuations.
