AVOID AREA OF SCHNOOR AND HOWARD. PUBLIC WORKS WORKING ON A WATER MAIN SHUT OFF. 
City of Madera public works is currently working with PG&E regarding a water shut off in the area of Howard Rd. and Schnoor Ave. The shut off is stemming from a water main that was damaged during work by PG&E. The extent of the water shut off and to what specific areas / residents is still unknown.
As of right now, through traffic on Howard Rd. at Schnoor Ave. is being detoured in both directions of the intersection.
We will update specifics as they are provided to MPD.
