Advisory

A prolonged period of mixed precipitation in effect for Waterville Valley area thru Friday Afternoon.

• A long-duration mixed precipitation event will impact the region today into Friday.
✓ Expect precipitation to begin early this morning as snow and change over to a mix of freezing rain and sleet across the south through the day.
✓ A lull is possible late this afternoon and evening before a second round of precipitation intensifies overnight and continues into Friday afternoon.
✓ Friday will see all snow north with rain along the coast and a wintry mix through the foothills.
• Around 1 foot of snow expected in the mountains with the heaviest accumulations on Friday.
• Light ice accretion of up to one-quarter inch with no widespread power outages expected.
• Hazardous travel conditions are expected this morning and continuing into Friday.
