Water Line Leak Repair on US 550 
The Public Works Department will be repairing two leaks in the water line along the northbound lanes of US 550 near the boundary with the City of Bloomfield. This line is the emergency interconnection between the City of Aztec and City of Bloomfield water systems. This line needs to be repaired so that water can be supplied to either city by the other city in case of an emergency. It is not anticipated that there will be any lane closures during this repair, but the shoulder will be occupied by equipment and personnel. Please slow down and move to the left lane if you are travelling in this area.
Work will begin in the morning of Tuesday, March 30, 2020. It is anticipated that work will be completed in this area by 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 2, 2020.
No Aztec or Bloomfield customers will be out of water during this repair.
