ARRESTED: Maurice McCray 68 years old.
1st Degree Reckless Homicide
On May 28th, 2020 at 0518hrs the Racine Police Department responded to the 1600blk of Flett Ave. reference a shooting victim. Upon arrival Officers located an adult male victim who was then transported to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Through the investigation it was determined the incident took place in the 1100blk of Racine St. and Maurice McCray was developed as a suspect.
A search warrant was executed in the 1100blk of Racine St. and Maurice McCray was taken into custody. The victim’s identity is being withheld at this time.
