The City of Grosse Pointe Woods Department of Public Safety is accepting applications for School Crossing Guards. This is a seasonal part time position that would be covering crossings in the mornings, lunch time and after school dismissal Monday – Friday. Starting pay is $11.50 per hour with Crossing Guards topping out at $13 per hour after 18 months. All applicants must be able to successfully pass a physical and background investigation, including drug testing.
The City of Grosse Pointe Woods Department of Public Safety will supply all employees (crossing guards) with the appropriate PPE in accordance with the CDC guidelines for COVID-19.
