We are encouraging EVERYONE to download the FREE Waterville Valley Public Safety App powered by tip411! This app will be replacing Nixle (THIS MESSAGE SYSTEM!) for our community alerts. All you have to do is download the app through App Store or Google Play (search Waterville Valley tip411) or sign up for free through our website! (www.watervillevalley.org) If you have a Nixle account we urge you to sign up for the tip411 Waterville Valley Public Safety App. This app will also enable the community to submit anonymous tips directly to the WV Police. We understand that many times people may see something or have information about a crime but don't feel comfortable calling the police for fear of being a bother or a "snitch". This app removes that fear by allowing residents, visitors, and employees to text or to submit a web tip anonymously. The system removes all identifying information that the police cannot see or access. We do not have access to any identifying information, and even if we ask tip411 to provide it, they can't. To use tip411, residents, visitors, employees simply need to text their tip to 847411 (tip411) and begin their message with "WVPDTIP" or directly through the app. Download the app for free through the iTunes App Store or Google Play.
