NAPA County WEA Alert Error regarding evacuation still being broadcast 
Napa County's wireless emergency alert (WEA) stating "Extreme Fire Danger. Stay Alert and leave area if you feel unsafe" is still being received by some people in Marin, Sonoma, and Solano - in addition to Napa. There is no new fire burning in Marin and no evacuation orders in effect. We are atttempting to get this alert stopped, but you may continue receiving it until it is scheduled to expire at 11:15 this morning. Please do not call 911 unless you have an emergency.
Please do NOT disable WEA alerting on your cell phone, since this is a critical alerting system we would use for a wildfire or other large emergency here in Marin.
We also strongly recommend that you sign up for alerts at www.alertmarin.org
There IS a Red Flag Warning in effect for Marin until Sat at 6AM. Please exercise extreme caution.
