Sonoma County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the death of an inmate. A second inmate was transported to an area hospital for a medical emergency.

At 4:28 am, an ambulance was requested by jail personnel for a female inmate who was having a medical emergency. Within a few minutes, a second ambulance was requested for an unresponsive female inmate. Both female inmates shared a cell.
