The timing of these closures is approximate and is as close to the estimated times of runners on the course as possible. The Manchester Police recommend planning for some delays if you are driving into that area of the city on December 5th. The Amoskeag Bridge on-ramp from Canal St will be closed. Motorists can still access the Amoskeag Bridge from Elm St. All the bridges; Queen City Bridge, Granite St Bridge, Bridge St Bridge and the Amoskeag Bridge, will remain open. The course will have detour signs and/or police officers along the course to assist motorists. Please use caution while traveling through this area and be aware of runners on the road.
***Manchester Transit Authority (MTA) – temporary route change***
The Veteran’s Park MTA stops on both sides of Elm St. (northbound and southbound) will be moved to the Chestnut St side of the Hillsborough County Superior Court for the day.
Traffic Alert – BASC Santa Shuffle 5k – Saturday, December 5, 2020 @ 12:30 PM
The BASC Santa Shuffle 5k 2020 will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 12:30 PM. This race will cause the closure of portions of a few city streets in Manchester, as well as detouring traffic around those closed streets.
