Any message receieved via Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) advising of further COVID-19 Stay-At-Home Orders (being referred to by some as DEEP PURPLE) were received in error. Lake is among other counties in the Northern California Region of the newest Blueprint For a Safer Ecoomy. That Northern California Region remains in the Purple Tier. However, our ICU capicty remains at a level that avoids triggering the mandatory Stay-At-Home order that is being seen in many other regions. A recent alert sent out to residents in the Greater Sacramento Region, was received by some Lake County residents in error.
