Like many other counties in the State and across our Nation, Napa County is currently experiencing a surge in COVID-19 cases along with declining capacity in ICU beds. Due to these capacity issues, we want to be clear about how Napa County Public Health is triaging the record number of cases we are experiencing.
 
Full case investigation is taking place with our most vulnerable age groups: people ages 0-18 and 50 and over. Individuals ages 19-49 will receive a survey via text message from #23393, please reply to the survey as it helps us respond more effectively. The survey will be followed up by a call with clear guidance and information on specific steps to take in order to monitor symptoms and help stop the spread of the disease.

It is important to be prepared. Should you or a household member test positive for COVID-19 ensure you have at least one week’s worth of food, prescription medications are filled and that you have a support system in place to help you while you have to isolate or quarantine at home.
