Update:
Deceased: Donta Cook 49 year old male
Shooting Victim: Shelia Adams 52 year old female.
Through the investigation is appears Cook shot Adams before shooting and killing himself. Adams remains hospitalized in stable condition.
On January 15, 2021 at 0530hrs the Racine Police Department responded to an apartment in the 800blk of College Ave. reference a person shot. Upon arrival officers located an adult female inside suffering from a life threatening gunshot wound. Officers also discovered an adult male deceased inside the apartment from an apparent gunshot wound. The female was transported to Ascension and later Froedtert Hospital in serious condition. The adult male was declared deceased at the hospital. Updates to follow.
