Strong west to northwest winds will develop this afternoon into
evening after a cold front moves through the area. Expect a few
hours of 25 to 30 mph wind and gusts to around 45 mph. This will
also change rain to snow with much colder temperatures, and snow
accumulations up to 2 inches possible. Blowing snow is possible,
especially where previous snow cover remains.
Instructions:
Prepare for some times of hazardous travel this afternoon through
early Friday morning due to temporary low visibility and some
snow covered or icy roads along with strong gusty winds.
