3/5/21: A watermain break has occurred in the area of Reynolds Dr.

Update: As of 2:42pm, we estimate that water service will be fully restored by 4:30pm for impacted households. However, as with any watermain break, further delays could occur.

Thank you for your patience as Peterborough Utilities has worked throughout the day to address this issue.

Please note that as a result of forgoing our seasonal flushing program this past fall due to ongoing drought conditions, service interruptions such as this can result in discolored water when service is restored, even in sections of town not immediately adjacent to the impacted area. If this occurs, it is recommended that you run your bathtub until the water clears. If the water does not clear in a timely manner (typically 10-15 minutes), please call the Town offices at 924-8000 and report.
