...A PERIOD OF MIXED WINTRY PRECIPITATION EXPECTED MONDAY MORNING...

Rain is expected to overspread the area overnight, and continue
through Monday morning. Due to dry air aloft, some of this rain
will mix with sleet or perhaps some freezing rain Monday morning.
The most likely time period for widespread sleet or light icing
will be between 7 am and 11 am, with potential for up to a half
inch of sleet accumulation. While ground temperatures in the 40s
will minimize much of the ice accumulation at the surface, some
slick spots will be possible on bridge decks and overpasses. Any
accumulation should not last long, as temperatures rise into the
mid 30s by midday.

In addition, east winds will gust to around 40 mph late tonight
and early Monday morning.

Instructions:

Leave early, slow down, leave extra distance between vehicles, and watch for icy patches - especially on bridges and rural roads.
