No: 21-10 Subject: Vehicle/Pedestrian Accident
On May 18, 2021 at 1436hrs the Racine Police Department responded to the 3900blk of Erie St.(parking lot) in response to numerous pedestrians struck by a vehicle. Upon arrival, Officers learned a vehicle swerved on to the sidewalk area striking numerous pedestrians. The injured included a one year old, two year old, and two adult pedestrians. The one year old child was transported to Froedtert Hospital due to injuries sustained. The 48 year old driver was arrested on alcohol related charges. The investigation in ongoing.
