The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Western Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Southeastern Lewis County in northern West Virginia... Upshur County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 930 PM EDT.

* At 841 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Rock Cave, or 9 miles southwest of Buckhannon, moving southeast at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Elkins, Buckhannon, Mill Creek, Dailey, Rock Cave, Mingo, Beverly, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Huttonsville, Alexander, Monterville, Lorentz, Glady, Helvetia, Pickens, Alton, Walkersville, Ellamore, Kanawha Head and Tallmansville. This includes Route 33 between mile markers 3 and 32.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LEWIS, WV ... RANDOLPH, WV ... UPSHUR, WV

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to flash flooding.
