Power line down. May River Road shut down between Gibbet Road and Buckwalter Parkway. Dominion Energy is on scene. 
A short time ago, a power line was knocked down by a tree on May River Road — SC Highway 46 — in Bluffton.
Dominion Energy was notified of the incident and crews are on scene addressing the issue. Repairs are estimated to take at least a few hours.
A portion of May River Road — between Gibbet Road and Buckwalter Parkway — is currently blocked off. It will reopen when repairs are complete.
