The National Weather Service in Charleston West Virginia has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Southwestern Randolph County in northeastern West Virginia... Southwestern Pocahontas County in northeastern West Virginia... East central Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia... Southern Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...

* Until 315 PM EDT.

* At 228 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Craigsville, or 9 miles east of Summersville, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include... Summersville, Richwood, Marlinton, Camden-On-gauley, Craigsville, Camden On Gauley, Cowen, Hillsboro, Canvas, Cranberry Mountain Nature Center, Slaty Fork, Muddlety, Upper Glade, Nettie, Edray, Buckeye and Calvin. This includes Route 19 between mile markers 40 and 53.

* AFFECTED AREAS: NICHOLAS, WV ... POCAHONTAS, WV ... RANDOLPH, WV ... WEBSTER, WV
