RE-OPENING OF ROUTE 30 SOUTHBOUND FOR TRUCKS
City of Amsterdam, Montgomery County
The New York State Department of Transportation Utica Regional Office has issued the following travel advisory for motorists in the City of Amsterdam, Montgomery County:
By the close of business Tuesday, July 6, 2021 Route 30 southbound will be available for use by large trucks and vehicles pulling trailers and no longer be required to follow the temporary truck detour.
Motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
