There is a power outage from the area of Franklin St north to 8th Street, and Hamilton St west to State St.  Com Ed is currently on the scene and estimates repairs to be completed within 6-8 hours.  Please avoid the area of Franklin and Hamilton Street During that time.  Those in need of cooling assistance may seek shelter at the Lockport Police Department located at 1212 S. Farrell Rd., or at the Lockport Township Building located at 1463 S. Farrell Rd.  Anyone in need of emergency transportation to either of those locations can request transportation through 9-11 if all other means have been exhausted.
