Edgewood Ave. Homicide Update

The homicide victim from August 13th, 2021 is identified as Rebecca Rannow born 7-12-80. Rebecca was found deceased inside of a residence in the 1600blk of Edgewood Ave. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. On August 13, 2021 at 1747hrs Racine Police Officers responded to a residence in the 1600blk of Edgewood Ave. reference a welfare check. An adult woman was discovered deceased inside of the residence. This is a homicide investigation. More information will be released in the coming days.
