Vehicle accident with injury

No: 21-18 Subject: Vehicle Accident with Injury
On September 8, 2021 at 0744hrs the Racine Police Department responded to Ashland Ave. and Olive St. for a two vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival officers discovered a six year old female occupant had sustained a severe injury during the crash. The child was transported via flight for life to Children’s Hospital for treatment. All other injuries sustained during the accident appear to be non-life threatening. Impairment does not appear to have played a role in this two vehicle accident.
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
