Red Flag Warning in effect this afternoon through Friday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m
Thunderstorm chances increase late this afternoon into early Friday morning as the disturbance moves inland. Thunderstorms will be a mix of wet and dry, but given how dry the fuels are any lightning strikes will be problematic.
Remain vigilant of your surroundings, check on your neighbors and fill up your gas tanks.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for dry lightning that includes Sonoma County effective this afternoon through Friday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m. A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly.
