THE CITY OF CLOVERDALE PROVIDES EVACUATION TAGS
The City of Cloverdale Is focusing on building a more resilient community that promotes essential information and actions that Cloverdale residents must take before, and during, an evacuation with an emphasis on emergency and disaster preparedness through an outreach program called CloveReady.
The primary goal of CloveReady is to work with Resilient Cloverdale’s community leadership, to promote Awareness, Preparedness, and Activation through several sources including, brochures, direct mail, door-to-door engagement, and visibility at community events. As part of the plan, CloveReady created evacuation tags, along with instructions, that are necessary for helping first responders quickly identify which homes have been evacuated so they can focus their attention on those who still need help.
The evacuation tags should only be placed on the door, or highly visible location, once EVERYONE has left the home. Copies of the brochures and instruction guides are available in English and Spanish.
Community members residing in the incorporated City of Cloverdale are encouraged to pick up an Evacuation tag and instruction guide at the following locations:
1. Cloverdale Police Department 112 Broad Street, Cloverdale, CA 95425 (707) 894-2150
