Full Notification

The North Brunswick Police Department is warning our residents and visitors of an increase in car burglaries and stolen cars.  Recently, these types of crimes have increased significantly throughout the County and surrounding area.  The criminals are targeting cars that are left running as well as cars with the keys left inside. 
-Please DO NOT leave any keys inside your vehicles.  Criminal have devices that can help them determine which cars have keys inside. 
-DO NOT leave vehicles running and unattended.  We know it's the time of year to start and warm-up your car, but unfortunately it is also the time for these thefts. 
-Please DO contact Police immediately if you see any suspicious or unfamiliar people looking at cars in the neighborhood or in driveways. 
-DO NOT keep valuables inside vehicles.
