Controlled burns are taking place today and tomorrow as part of a “burn day” approved by the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD). Expect to see smoke and know that professional fire crews are closely managing burns with fire safety and smoke management in mind. As a reminder, please make sure you obtain permits from BAAQMD and contact your closest fire station prior to burning.
