Flood Advisory from 12/23/2021 In Effect Now until 12:00 PM PST for Monterey County, CA. The National Weather Service has issued an Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Drive with caution: turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Impacted Areas that will experience flooding may include (but not limited to) Salinas, Seaside, Monterey, Marina, Pacific Grove, Carmel-By-The-Sea, Carmel Valley Village, Boronda, Prunedale, Spreckels, Castroville, Moss Landing, Ridgemark, Del Monte Forest, San Juan Bautista, Del Rey Oaks, Sand City, and Elkhorn.
