At approximately 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021, there was an accident on Sea Island Parkway — US Hwy. 21, Lady's Island — between Meridian Rd. and Youmans Dr.
In the accident, a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed.
The portion of the road where the accident occurred is temporarily closed.
Traffic is being diverted through Meridian Rd. and Youmans Dr.
