4-8 inches of snow possible Friday night-Saturday, please remove parked vehicles off Township streets Friday evening
The Office of Emergency Management is monitoring a winter storm which will impact the area from Friday evening to Saturday evening. The current forecast is for 4 – 8 inches of snow. However, the total snow forecast remains very uncertain at this time.
As of now, snow may be heavy at times through early Saturday afternoon with rates of 1 inch per hour before diminishing later in the day. Winds may generate areas of blowing snow and low visibilities at times. Travel could be very difficult.
We urge residents to stay off the roads during the storm. Also, please be patient as our Department of Public Works crews work to efficiently plow Township streets.
