* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt.

* WHERE...Portions of western Maryland and eastern West Virginia, including the following counties: in western Maryland, Garrett. In eastern West Virginia, northwestern Grant and extreme western Mineral.

* WHEN...Until 700 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of streams, creeks, and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 233 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated Rain and Snowmelt. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Rapid snowmelt is also occurring and will add to the flooding. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.8 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mountain Lake Park... Oakland... Bayard... Bittinger... Grantsville... Loch Lynn Heights... Friendsville... Deer Park... Accident... Elk Garden... Kitzmiller... Deep Creek Lake State Park...
