Subject: Homicide Investigation Update
           
 
ARRESTED (02/11/22):   
 
     Johnathon A. Martinez, 25 year old male of Gurnee, IL.  Arrested for party to a Crime (PTAC) 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Attempted Armed Robbery with Use of Force.
     Christopher A. Martinez, 23 year old male of Waukegan, IL.  Arrested for Party to a Crime (PTAC) 1st Degree Intentional Homicide and Attempted Armed Robbery with Use of Force.
     Moises R. Gonzalez, 28 year old male of Racine, WI.  Arrested for PTAC Attempted Armed Robbery with Use of Force and Possession of THC with Intent to Deliver.
 
With the help of other agencies and several investigative tools, Racine Police investigators were able to develop the above mentioned males as suspects in this homicide, which led to their arrests.

The homicide victim from October 4, 2021 has been identified as James E. Hamilton born 03/30/1990.  James was found deceased inside of 1009 Monroe Ave. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  Crime Stoppers of Racine is offering a reward for any information that leads to an arrest.  Please call Crime Stoppers at 262-636-9330.  You can also call Investigator Rybarik at 262-619-3564 with any information that you may have.
 

 
On October 4, 2021 at 10:04 pm, the Racine Police Department responded to 1009 Monroe Ave to investigate a possible home invasion in progress.  Upon arrival, Officers located a 31 year old male victim inside of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Currently no one is in custody reference the shooting.  This is an active investigation.
 
Racine Police investigators are interested in any additional information that anyone may have about this crime.  Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Investigations Unit at (262) 635-7756.
