Woman Seriously Injured in Single-Vehicle Crash 
Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a single-vehicle crash that seriously injured a woman in Medford early this morning.
A 39-year-old woman was driving a 2019 Honda Civic eastbound on Horseblock Road when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree in front of 2975 Horseblock Road at approximately 1:40 a.m.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in serious condition.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
