In South Central Kansas, Butler, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Reno, Sedgwick and Sumner. In Southeast Kansas, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson.
* WHEN...From 7 PM CDT this evening through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rain over wet and saturated soils will create rapid runoff and flooding potential during the night. Flash flooding is a distinct possibility in areas where heavy rain has recently fallen. Due to current soil conditions areas that are prone to flooding are likely to flood quickly, even in brief heavy rain.
